According to the latest report released by the world bank's trade and international integration group, the first quarter of 2010, China's export commodities became the first victim of Global trade protectionism.

The report shows that in the first quarter of 2010, a total of 19 anti-dumping investigations were launched in the world, of which 9 were for China's exports, accounting for 47% of the total, and the highest in the world.

Moreover, these anti-dumping investigations may become new trade prohibitions.

The report shows that in the first quarter of 2010, Argentina launched anti-dumping investigations on Chinese suits and chain saw blades.

The European Union launched anti-dumping investigations against melamine and high-quality coated paper in China.

India launched anti-dumping investigations on China's export of seamless steel tube, glass fiber, PVC film, and polypropylene products from mainland China and Taiwan.

Turkey initiated anti-dumping on glass fiber reinforced materials made in China.

The United States is launching anti-dumping investigations and retaliation tax policies on steel pipes for drilling in China.

In addition to launching anti-dumping investigations, some countries have directly implemented trade protection measures against Chinese goods.

In 2010, the world's newly launched 15 trade protection policies accounted for 10 items of Chinese goods, accounting for 67% of the total.

In the first quarter of 2010, Argentina implemented a trade protection policy against three Chinese exports, and Brazil launched trade protection measures targeting China's footwear products.

India, Canada, Turkey, the United States and other countries have implemented trade measures against different Chinese commodities.

Among them, Canada and the United States have adopted a more stringent "retaliatory tax" policy on a Chinese commodity.

According to the report data, China's anti-dumping investigation has increased significantly.

In 2009, the world launched 12 anti-dumping investigations against China's export commodities, 4 in 2008 and 9 in the first quarter of 2010.

This is not consistent with global trends. In fact, Global trade protectionism has been on a downward trend recently.

The report shows that 127 anti dumping investigations were launched in the world in 2009, and 38 and 24 respectively in the third and fourth quarters, and only 19 in the first quarter of 2010.

In 2009, a total of 92 trade protection measures were implemented for single commodities in the world, including 31 in the fourth quarter of the year, and 12 in the first quarter of 2010.
