Thailand Floods Rebuild Home Textiles

The worst flooding occurred in Thailand in 50 years, and 60 governments in the country were victimized. 33 of them were seriously flooded. The market predicted that the impact of the floods on Thailand GDP 0.6%~1.0% GDP would include agriculture, industry, tourism and investment in fixed assets.

At present, the main affected areas are located in 2 and 3 tier cities outside the countryside and outside Bangkok.

Home Furnishing

The retail trade of home decoration is the main post disaster industry.

From the economic fundamentals, Thailand's domestic demand continued to grow strongly, although the annual growth rate of consumer price index (CPI) rose slightly to 4.29% in August.

Thailand

Domestic market demand

The continuous increase in consumption is mainly due to the fact that the new government of Thailand has planned to cash in the first promised cheque, such as raising the minimum wage level from 200 yuan per day to 300 yuan per day.

This flood caused most families to rebuild the retail industry of building materials, home textiles, household products and so on.
