Textile Industry Transfer And Technical Support Have Achieved Results

Many regions in the central and western regions have innovated working mechanisms, established working institutions led by provincial governments, strengthened the coordination and promotion of industrial transfer, and provided high-quality services for industrial transfer. Each region has also actively innovated the service model. For example, Xiangyang City of Hubei Province has established a "six one" industrial development promotion mechanism of one industry, one special class, one plan, one set of policies, one fund, and a series of support carriers for key industries.

Industry associations and research institutes have played an important role in planning consultation, project docking, park construction, etc. The China Textile Industry Federation has also set up a special textile industry transfer office to promote orderly industrial transfer as an important task of the China Textile Industry Federation and strengthen service guidance.

In recent years, under the complex and severe international and domestic environment, industrial transfer has given full play to the advantages of the eastern, central and western regions, and promoted the sustainable and healthy development of the textile industry, especially the rapid growth of the industrial scale in the central and western regions. In 2011, the total industrial output value of textile enterprises above designated size in central and western regions exceeded trillion yuan, more than double that of 2009, and the proportion of output value scale in the country rose from 15.5% in 2009 to 19.7% in 2011; In 2011, the employment of enterprises above designated size in the central and western regions increased by 16.7% year on year, significantly higher than the level of 2.8% in the eastern regions.

The operating quality of the textile industry in the central and western regions has improved. Through undertaking industrial transfer, the development level of the textile industry in the central and western regions has improved, especially the cotton textile and clothing industries, which are the main undertaking industries, have achieved outstanding benefits. The cost profit ratio of the textile and clothing industries in the western regions increased 1.3 times in 2011 compared with 2009.
