Ningbo'S Foreign Trade Enterprises Broke Through 10000 For The First Time

A hundred years' financial crisis has not shaken the enthusiasm of Ningbo's foreign businessmen.

The Ningbo foreign trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau announced yesterday that in 2008, Ningbo added 1900 foreign trade registration and registration enterprises, with an average monthly number of more than 150 registered enterprises, and the first time the city gained the right to operate foreign trade for more than 1, reaching 10758, and achieved "a thousand soldiers to do foreign trade".

Statistics show that in the 1900 newly added foreign trade enterprises last year, there were 222 enterprises with registered capital of more than 5 million yuan, and 884 enterprises with registered capital from 1 million yuan to 5 million yuan, accounting for 58% of the total number of enterprises.

From the analysis of the nature of enterprises to the registration and registration of foreign trade departments, private enterprises are the main enterprises to develop self operated foreign trade businesses, especially in the economically developed Cixi, Yinzhou and Yuyao. Last year, more than 250 foreign trade enterprises were newly established.

The growing force of export-oriented private enterprises has strengthened the stamina of Ningbo's foreign trade development.

According to Ningbo customs statistics, the total export volume of private enterprises reached 15 billion 440 million US dollars from January to November last year, an increase of 39.2% over the same period last year, and the proportion of total exports increased by 4.34 percentage points over the same period last year.
